  1. In a large pot bring water, onion soup, tomatoes, and mixed vegetables, and better than sock to a boil
  2. Heat oil in large skillet
  3. Add meat, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning, and saute until brown
  4. Do NOT drain meat and add to pot with other ingredients
  5. Reduce heat too low and simmer for 2 - 4 hours
  6. Add noodles and continue to simmer for 30 minutes
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste
