The ingredients needed to make Chicken Tikka masala:
- Prepare 3 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 800 gm chicken cubes
- Take 3 tsp dhaniya powder
- Get 1 tsp haldi
- Get 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Get to taste Salt
- Get 200 grams Yoghurt
- Take 1 lemon juice
- Take Pinch Red tandoori colour
Instructions to make Chicken Tikka masala:
- For the masala - 100ml of Tomato puree - Grind together 2 fried onion, 1 tomato and 3-4 green chilies. - 2 tbsp yogurt - 1 tsp red chilli powder - 1tsp coriander powder - 1/2 tsp garam masala powder - Salt to taste
- Marinate chicken pieces in all above masala and give smoke.This is the tikka preparation
- Take a pan add 3 tbsp oil and fry the chicken till it is cooked properly. Cover and cook and keep stirring in between.
- In a small utensil add 2 tbsp oil, add the ground masala, to this add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala pow, salt and fry for 1 min. Add Yoghurt mix well and fry for 30 secs. Then add tomato purée and fry for 2 more mins. Masala is ready. Now mix the masala with the chicken and let it cook for 2 mins on slow flame. Garnish with lots of fresh coriander. Serve with rice, puri or paratha.
