  7. Cool slightly, pour into baked pie shell.
  8. Make meringue by beating 3 egg whites until stiff, add 3 teaspoons sugar 1 teaspoon at a time and beat well after each teaspoon is added.
  9. Top filling with meringue and sprinkle with coconut.
  10. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
