If you're using frozen kernels, puree half in a food processor or blender, adding a little soup if the liquid is needed. While chicken is cooling, strain broth through a fine sieve. Debone chicken and cut meat into bite-sized pieces. Add corn (frozen works fine)to broth and bring to a boil.

Steps to make Chicken Corn Soup:
  1. Braise onion in oil till translucent.
  2. Add greens - onion, ground garlic chillies - and spices - lemon pepper, aromat - with chicken cubes
  3. Cook for about 7 mins till chicken is done.
  4. Prepare all soup powders - white onion soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken noodle soup - as per instruction on packet.
  5. Add to cooked chicken.
  6. Simmer for about 3 mins.
  7. Add sweetcorn and stir gently till all mixed
  8. Simmer on low heat for about 5 mins
  9. Add Nestle cream 2 mins before serving. Top with remaining greens.
  10. Serve with garlic rolls or bread sticks

This chicken and noodle soup will feed two young children. A dish with added feelgood factor - this vitamin C filled soup is the ideal after-work pick-me-up. Drain and reserve liquid in a jug. Shred the chicken into small pieces. Cut the corn kernels from cobs.
