It is referred as dahi bade (دہی بڑے) in Urdu. You can also add moong dal in the Dahi Bada but I prefer to use only Urad dal to make this lovely street food. Take each bada out from water, squeeze and set aside. Now add garam masala, pepper and salt in beaten curd.

- Dal ko dho kar 4hrs bhigo dijiye, 4hrs ke bad pani nikal dijiye thoda sa pani rahne dijiye, fir ise mixer me pees lijiye, bowl me nikal kar ache se fent lijiye, namak Dal ke flupy hone Tak fent lijiye,
- Aik kadai me tail garam kijiye, ab pisi dal se bada banane ke liye hath me lijiye (hatho par halka sa tail lagaiye), ab isme 2tukde kaju Aur 1kishmish Dal ke dhal ko uper utha kar gol shape dijiye, fir kadai me talne ke liye daliye, Aur dusare bade bhi is tarah banake talne ke liye kadai me Dal dijiye, Bado ko bhura hone Tak palat kar ache se tal lijiye, tale huye Bado ko plate me nikal dijiye,
- Bado ko 15 minat gungune pani me bhigo kar rakh dijiye, Aur bowl me feti hui dahee ko Dal dijiye, Bado ko aik aik kar ke nikal kar hatheli se daba kar feti hui dahee me Dal dijiye, ab dahee bhado ke upar Lal mirch, garam masala, chat masala, bhuna hua pisa jeera burak dijiye. Taiyar he khatte meethe dahi bade.ab inhe sarv kijiye.
