- Add spices - 1/4 tsp haldi, 01 tsp chilli powder, 01 tsp dhaniya powder.
- Add 1/2 tsp garam masala and salt to taste(adjust salt as cooked dal also contains salt).mix well.
- Add cooked dal along with 1/2 cup water. Stir it and let it cook for 10 min on medium flame stir ocassionaly.
- Once water is reduced to half then squeeze 1/2 lemon and give it a good mix
- Masoor dal is ready to serve for lunch or dinner with chappati or rice.
