Then add chopped potatoes and cook covered for 4-5 minutes on low flame stirring in between. Remove the lid, add salt and turmeric powder and stir fry for 3-4 minutes on medium flame. Transfer to a plate.
- To make turai sabji: heat 1/2 tbsp of oil in a kadahi, add cumin seeds and hing, let it crackle, add chopped onions and fry till it turns pink. Add chopped turai and cook cover for 4-5 minutes on low flame. It will leave water. Add salt and turmeric powder and cook stirring for 3-4 minutes on medium to high flame. When water dries up. It's ready.
- Serve in a thali with papad.
