- Separate batter and add desired colour to each batch and stir til colour is consistent.
- Add mixture into patty pan
- Bake for 20mins (depending on size of your cupcakes). Check with a skewer to see if the cakes are done. skewers should pull out clean. If there is mixture on the skewer bake for another 5mins and do another skewer check.
- When done let it cool for 5 - 10 mins.
- You can add any type of topping you want on the cup cakes. For instance: butter cream, icing sugar or chocolate ganache.
I went with a standard vanilla buttercream icing which I've tinted different shades to get the rainbow effect. step two: prepare the big frosting bag. Pipe the red frosting in a line on the plastic wrap. The recipe I used is a variation of the white chocolate buttercream and the strawberry white chocolate buttercream.
