- Preheat oven to 400°
- Cut top off of garlic bulb, don't cut the base of the garlic
- Place in aluminum oil drizzle the cut up and drizzle some extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of coarse sea salt. Close aluminum foil loosely but tightly sealed the aluminum foil and place in the oven you may place in an oven safe container and bake at 400°F from 30 to 40 minutes depending upon your oven
- Once it is finished place aside and let cool after you remove it from the aluminum foil the garlic should be very soft. Once it cools you be able to squeeze the bulb of garlic and remove the bulbs from the casings
- Mash up your garlic into a fine paste
- Take your room temperature soften butter and cream it then add in your roasted garlic paste and salt to taste
- Add 1 to 2 tablespoons dried parsley taste store in a container and refrigerated until you want to use it
